Effectiveness of the Mr Mould product.

Independent scientific test – January 2012

To demonstrate the effectiveness of their mould remediation work, our client, Ducted Air Solutions, commissioned “Mouldlab” (NSJ Envirosciences P/L) to conduct analyses of “Bio Tape Lift Offs” taken from a Lismore property prior to remediation work and one hour after remediation work. 

The essence of the Mouldlab report was:

Prior to Remediation with Mr. Mould

1. 6094 in Kids bedroom-above beds (Anything over 5,000 spores/cm² rates as “Very High contamination level)

2. 3324 in Master bedroom-above bed (Anything over 1,000 spores/cm² rates as “High contamination level)

The conclusions in the Mouldlab report were:

The levels of mould detected within the premises were High to Very High and therefore constitute a health risk.

With reference to the types and levels of mould detected in the samples submitted from the above site, genera of mould were detected which include species which are known to be either: Allergenic and/or Mycotoxin producers.

We are delighted that Ducted Air Solutions chose to objectively and scientifically verify the efficacy of our Mr. Mould product. It is a water carried, essential oil based product, that has brought countless homes back to a habitable and presentable condition in relation to toxic mould impact on residents.
